Install new clutch master cylinder

In progress

Replacement is underway.

The project record

Where the project stands

The vacuum check is complete and failed. Installing a new clutch master cylinder is now in progress; the replacement parts are on hand.

The clutch hydraulic line connection is still stuck. I posted on Instagram asking the Corvette community for help while I work through the disconnect.

Useful C5 tool: Lisle 39810 Hydraulic Clutch Line Disconnect Tool for the hydraulic clutch-line connection. Installation notes will follow when the work is complete.

This page starts with the plan and selected parts. Installation photos, decisions and results will be added as the work happens.
